Traditional Metal Braces
Metal braces are still the most common type of braces for orthodontic patients. Modern metal braces are much more comfortable than ones worn in the past, as they’re flatter and smaller. Your child's doctor may recommend braces if they suffer from crooked or crowded teeth, jaw problems or a misaligned bite.
Aligning your child’s teeth makes them easier to clean, but it also has a huge impact on their overall appearance. As an Invisalign provider, our team at Kids First can help your child straighten their teeth without having to resort to the brackets and wires associated with traditional metal.
Clear, removable Invisalign make it easier for your child to keep their smile clean and avoid the pain of tooth decay and gum disease. The Invisalign system uses removable plastic trays that are easy to care for and comfortable for your child to wear. Invisalign is perfect for teens with mild to moderate orthodontic problems.
Early interception is key in correcting your child's bite problems before they get worse. At Kids First we suggest every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the time they turn 7. Give our office a call today to schedule your child’s appointment!
