Dr. Afshin Saadtisohi received his DDS and certification of pediatric dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry and Woodhull Medical, and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. 

Dr. Saadtisohi decided to pursue a career in dentistry because he was inspired by his older brother and as a child, he did not have a good experience so he wanted to make a difference in the field of pediatric dentistry. He enjoys dentistry because he likes being able to help people get out of pain and engage with youth through dentistry. 

Dr. Saadtisohi immigrated to America when he was 16. His mother left after three months so he had to learn how to become an adult at a very young age, which made him mature faster and learn to deal with obstacles by himself. He also finds himself to have a good sarcastic sense of humor. Dr. Saadtisohi also speaks Farsi/Persian.
